Berry - banana smoothie

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup (250 mL)  Vanilla, Plain, Strawberry or Raspberry Yogurt 
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) cereal
  • 2 tbsp (25 mL) ground flaxseed or flaxseed meal
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) fresh strawberry halves or raspberries, or frozen whole strawberries
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) skim milk
  • 1 to 2 tbsp (15 to 25 mL) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 banana

Preparation:

           Place all ingredients in blender. Cover and blend on high speed 10 seconds; stop blender to scrape sides. Cover and blend about 20 seconds longer or until smooth.
Pour mixture into glasses. Serve immediately.
